I have more than one account on this app. One is personal and the other I use for beauty because I am a lash stylist and makeup artist. My beauty account fell victim to Russian hackers and I reported it as hacked from my personal account. Then friends sent me a link to report the hacking via Safari. I was able to recover my account and change my email and username back to my own but the relief was short lived. I soon got a notice saying my beauty account would be disabled because I had reported it from my personal account. So I tried contacting the help center through email begging them not to disable the account since I just recovered it. I’ve only ever gotten automated messages back with no option that would work for my situation. I decided to try to log in through Safari in hopes that I would get some kind of message with prompts on how to fix the problem, and somehow my beauty account is not disabled on Safari. Thinking they may have seen my pleas I tried to log in once again with the Instagram app with the “add account” feature and the disabled message came up again. I ended up deleting my account through Safari and trying to recreate a new one with a different username on the app but am still faced with a message saying my account has been disabled for violating Instagrams terms. I wish I could speak to an actual person who can help me. It’s extremely frustrating that I have to go to Safari to use Instagram for that account when the app is so much easier to navigate. And all this frustration and strife just because I was the victim of a hacking???!
