Before Instagram created that new algorithm, it was such a perfectly simple and enjoyable app. I still enjoy using it, but now that posts aren’t strictly chronological anymore, I only see a fraction of the people I follow, and that kind of defeats the purpose of using an app like this. The careers of many artists and other businesses I know have taken a hit because of this change (although to Instagram’s credit, social media apps like this caused them to have more exposure in the first place, and I guess it’s their app so they can do whatever they want). But aaaaanyway, it was way better before. I’m not sure why they changed it, because everyone seems to prefer it the old way.

whenever i post a video the quality and audio quality is decreased so much. it literally makes my videos goes from 1080p to 360p it needs to be fixed

Takes for ever to load messages

I would want instagram to be able to edit the names on the dms so you can put a nickname for the person your texting

I was logged out now when I try to log back in it’s says “sorry there was a problem with your request” i keep deleting and reinstalling the app but it won’t work

I’m an old user. I started using it before Mark bought Instagram because I started hating Facebook. But when Facebook bought it some changes started appearing which concerns me if I need to start looking for the next app.

everytime i post a video the audio quality is awful and so is the video quality. please fix this it’s the most annoying thing about the app.

Honestly, I think a lot of people can agree with me that Instagram needs to stop ruining the quality of videos we post. There’s a noticeable difference from when my camera roll quality to my posts quality. It’s literally based on luck to those who get good quality and we struggle to find ways to make the quality good when we post. It totally ruins the video when you can barely see what’s going on because it’s been converted to 420p. PLEASE FIX THIS. Everyone is complaining and instagram has done absolutely nothing to fix it and we! need! change! You fixed the feed to it’s in chronological order, now it’s time to fix the quality of the feed itself. Please.

whenever I post something the quality goes from clear to minecraft. if you guys could fix this so the quality doesn’t get ruined anymore that would be more than amazing, hope to see this in future updates.
